A passionate travel designer who combines global experience with a deep love for New Zealand’s landscapes and culture.
Originally from Germany, Kristin considers herself a citizen of the world. Having lived in the USA, Dubai and South America, she eventually chose New Zealand as the place to call home. After completing her degree in tourism and working onboard cruise ships and within the cruise industry, she has now been living in New Zealand for almost ten years. She loves the warmth of the people and the country’s breathtaking, largely untouched landscapes.
Based in Christchurch, Kristin enjoys the South Island lifestyle — starting the day at the beach and finishing it in the mountains. She is passionate about sharing the Tiaki spirit, the care for people, place and culture, with visitors from around the world. Her favourite recommendation is exploring the golden beaches of Abel Tasman, followed by an evening of unforgettable stargazing.
